All About 3rd ODI and 1st & 2nd ODI Review

Pakistan has come in India to play five ODIs and three Tests. The results of last two ODIs are very important for the 3rd ODi because India and Pakistan both has won one and the result is now 1-1.

First ODI reviews: India won the first match that was took place in Gowhati, Assam. Indian batsmen dominated Pakistan bowlers, as a result India won by 5 wickets. In the first match Pakistan won the toss and Pakistan captain elected to bat first. We could not tell that Pakistan batsmen faced a serious batting downfall but did not do well against Indian bowlers even they did not all out but the score was not suitable as they expected. The total runs were 239 by 7 wickets because they were in serious pressure during the slog overs especially the 20 overs of Murali Kartik and Marbhajan Singh. In those over they achieve only 65 runs and the run rate came low. Although they had wickets in hands and took 70 more runs in the last 10 overs. So the total credit went on Indian spin bowlers.

On the other hand, Indian batsmen did well and took a more runs by dominating Pakistani bowlers and reached the target 44.1 overs. Pakistani first bowers did not do well like India except Omar Gul. Although Shoeb Akter took two valuable wickets of India, Sachin Tendulkar and MS Dhoni but it did not fall any serious effect in Indian batting line-up. During the 3rd over of the match and the second over of him, he sent back Sachin Tendulkar to the pavilion. But Sourav Ganguly, Goutam Gambhir, MS Dhoni and Yuvraj Singh reached the team to the door of win. As a result MS Dhoni became the player of the match by his responsible batting.source Source CricInfo

Second ODI reviews: What are they doing? I think it was the speech of the all audiences both who were watching the match in the gallery and in front of the TV sets. In the second ODI match Sourav Ganguly did not more than 6 runs, sent back by Shoeb Akter. That is similar to the 1st ODI because on that day Sachin Tendulkar sent back by Shoeb too. Sachin Tendulkar did 99 runs and sent back to the pavilion by Umar Gul. Most of the middle order batsmen failed to move the score of Indian team. Although the top order batsmen help to build good score but India lost their last four wickets within 40 runs that was the main barred to make the big score that 321. As a result they lost the mach.

Pakistan played a very important role that will inspire them to do well in the 3rd ODI at Kanpur. They played a positive cricket in the 2nd ODI especially Younis Khan. He did 117 runs by 189 balls. Running behind the long score of 321 they had to face in trouble after loosing early 3 wickets before 110 runs. Anyway, the victory came to depend on Younis Khan’s batting. Most positive thing did Yuvraj Singh by missing the catch of Younis Khan. The lower order batsmen, Misbah-ul-Haq, Shahid Afridi and blower Sohail Tanvir also played most important role to win the series. Source CricInfo

The result of the 5-match series level 1-1. Although Indian the declared the squad for the first two match. Will it be changed? V Sehwag was played in stead of Rahul Dravid. The selection board decided to rest Rahul Dravid and informed to media that he will play form the 3rd ODI. But I did not know the result of what their last decision about Rahul Dravid. Will he play or not?

The series is most important for Indian team and Indian fans want that the team will beat Pakistan and will with the series. Last month India beat Pakistan and became Twenty20 champion. During that time, in India squad there were more new and inexperienced players. Although some top players have been added but the dependable batsman Dravid is not on the team.

Indian Squad for first two one-dayers: Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly, Gautam Gambhir, Virender Sehwag, Robin Uthappa, Rohit Sharma, Yuvraj Singh, Mahendra Singh Dhoni (capt & wk), Irfan Pathan, Praveen Kumar, Zaheer Khan, RP Singh, Sreesanth, Harbhajan Singh, Murali Kartik.
