Which channel will telecast the India vs Pakistan cricket match series? I have gotten a lot of comments from the cricket fans on my blog. I did not answer them because I had to be sure about it. India vs Pakistan ODI and Test Schedule and Fixture
India v Pakistan second test will be started from 30 November at Eden Gardens in Kolkata. In first test India won by 6 wickets with the leadership of Anil Kumble. So Anil Kumble is very lucky that he could start his captaincy with victory. In the 1st test Indian bowlers were able to create pressure upon Pakistani batsmen. Whether, you know that Anil Kumble is now third highest test wicket seeker in the world. His best performance in the test cricket in one innings against Pakistan is 10 wickets. In the last India v Pakistan test Anil Kumble toke 7 wickets and he selected man of the match. Kumble toke retired from one day cricket but recently he has selected test captain of Indian team. Zahir Khan well played in the last India v Pakistan test match. He toke 4 wickets. Harvajan Shing and Sourav Ganguly also played wells.
MM Pattel didn’t play as well. There are others good bowlers in Indian team now like Srishanth, RP Shing and Irphan Pathan. But Indian selection board didn’t play with them. If they play in the upcoming 2nd test then Indian bowling part will be strong and the team will be powerful.
Pakistani bowling side is always strong that knows all of cricket fans. Rowalpindi Express named Shoeib Akthar is always the cause of panic near Indian batsmen because he was king of speed. He is a dependable wicket seeker in Pakistan team. You know that after a long time he has come back to the team suppring different penalty. After all he didn’t loss his form and it seems to me that he has remained now his previous position. Shoeib Akthar toke total 6 wickets in the first test, with in these he toke all 4 wickets which India lost their 2nd innings. Danish Kaneria is also a dependable bowler in test cricket for Pakistan. He toke 4 wickets in the 1st innings for 59 runs. Shohel Tanvir is another important bowler of Pakistan. His bowling style is some different from another Pakistani bowlers. He thoughts the ball very swift. Shohel Tanvir did good ball in both the innings and toke 3 wickets in the first innings in the first test.
Only didn’t get any wicket in that test. Mohammad Sami should have to do well in the coming 2nd test.
To win the 2nd test Pakistani bowlers have to try their best.
You all know that India has won the first test match. So the result is 1-0 of the three match series and India has come up. We always blame to the captain if the match win or loose. Do you think so?? I think no. If you have any comments then tell me.
I am disappointed to see the performances of Indian batting. I think all know about the Indian batting side. They are not only well but also have some very good quality batsmen who have a very good rank in the world cricket ranking.
Last October, India lost seriously a home test series and an ODI series along with Australia but they became Twenty20 champion and also beat Australia and Pakistan too. After that victory all the Indian fans though that India is a very good form and can beat any team now. But that was bogus.
Now the fist test has been over. Although India won the match but the performances of the batsmen astonished the entire cricket lover. The worst thing of Indian cricket is that if the top order batsmen fail then most of the batsmen fail to hold the match although they have a good cricketer.
Now, the 2nd test match will be held on 30 November at Eden Gardens in Kolkata. I think the pitch is always helpful for the batsmen and both team have a very good quality batsmen. If India fail to show a good batting then it will be difficult to with the match and series too.
You know that India has defeated to Pakistan in the first test by 6 wickets. Although Pakistani captain Shoaib Malik won the toss and decided to bat but failed to make a big score in their first test. The second test will be stared from 30 November in Kolkata. I think the Pakistani players and fans are expecting a very good cricket. If you observe the fist test you could see that most of the batsmen did make a good score except Mishab-ul-Haq.
The total collection was 231 losing all wickets. Misbah-ul-Haq’s 82 runs was mention about with in this runs. In the 2nd innings also he did 45 runs. Misbah-ul-Haq is now passing a good time in his carrier. With out Misbah-ul-Haq anybody body couldn’t pass over 30 in the first innings. He played well in the Twenty 20 world cup. Pakistani top order batsmen were failed to get run. Salman Butt was out by 1 run in the first innings but he played as usual in the 2nd innings by performing 67 runs. Shoaib Malik couldn’t do well in both the innings and his total run was 11. Yasir Hammed come back in team after a long time yet his performance was not so well. Younis Khan and Mohammad Yousuf were going to the same way like.
Both of them are dependable batsmen of Pakistan. However, if Pakistan wants to win in the upcoming 2nd test then they would have notice their batting side.
If they could do 400-500 runs in their first innings then there will be a possibility to win or draw.
You all know that India has won the first Test Match of three test matches series against Pakistan. Pakistan captain Shoeb Malik won the toss and decided to bat first. In the first innings Pakistan did 231 runs by losing all their wickets up to earlier of the 2nd day. Pakistani top order batsmen were failed to build a big score. Only Misbah-ul-Haq did well in both first and second innings. He scored 82 runs in first innings and 45 in the second innings respectively and another batsman Salman Butt who scored 67 runs in second innings. The bowling side of Pakistan is always good. Rawalpindi Express named Shoeib Akthar has well in both 1st and 2nd innings. He toke 2 and 4 wickets in the 1st and 2nd innings respectively. Besides Sohail Tanvir and Danish Kaneria also did well in the first innings.
But both the captains are hopping that they will paly will in the next test which will take place on 30 November 2007 at Eden Gardens, Kolkata, India
Shoaib Malik: "If you go back to the first day we didn't bat well. Our bowlers put in the effort but we were 100 runs short. Salman Butt was excellent in the second innings and also Yasir Hameed who was playing after a long time. Shoaib bowled really well and if we had a target of 300 the game could have been different. If you want to win a Test you have to score 400 plus and so we'll be looking to do that (in Kolkata)."
Anil Kumble is the Man of the Match for his captaincy, his seven wickets and a useful 24 in the first innings.
Kumble: "This ground has been very special, everything had happened on this ground. I think the boys responded really well and getting Pakitan out within 250 in both innings was creditable. The partnerships between Laxman and Dhoni, Dravid and Jaffer and Sachin and Ganguly were all very crucial. [On his own performance] It was excellent to get into the [bowling] groove right away. Three months is a long break at my age and I'm very happy with my performance."
Similarly India was failed to make a big score against Pakistan. In the earlier of the 2nd day India started batting and took 276 runs till the first spell of the 3rd third day losing all wickets and their leading run was 66. Only Dinesh Kartik failed to get run in both the first and second innings. Little master Shachin Tendulker is in good form. Very soon he will reach in the top among the high test nun scorers. He is now in the 2nd position under Brayan Lara. VVS Lakshman has well done among the Indian batsmen. Actually he is the great batsman for test match. Washim Jafar has done well in both the innings. In the second innings Pakistan toke 267 runs and they lead to India by 203 runs. In the 4th day India start batting and they reach easily to their target losing 4 wickets. Anil Kumble is really lucky as new captain because India has won the first test by the leading of Anil Kumble. He always plays good against Pakistan. The best record of Anil Kumble is also against Pakistan. In this first test he toke 4 and 3 wickets in the 1st and 2nd innings respectively. Shaurav Gangguly who toke 2 wickets and 48 runs, that’s a good performance.
The 2nd and 3rd test match between India v Pakistan will be held on 30th November and 8th December respectively. Second test will be held at Eden Gardens, Kolkata and third test will be held at Bangalore. It is expecting that the upcoming test match may be contestable.
Irfan Pathan and Ishant Sharma will play the 3rd Test
Irfan Pathan and Ishant Sharma have been included in Indian team for the 3rd test against Pakistan to strengthen the bowling attract. Already Zaheer Khan, Munaf Patel and RP Singh have ruled out for their injury, was attracted during the 2nd test going on in Kolkata. The final test will be held at Bangalor on 8th December. India is ahead than Pakistan by 1-0 in this test series.
Probably Indian team management is concerned with their bowling attack for the Bangalore Test that it might be in alike position to Pakistan's at Kolkata .Zaheer Khan is struggling with an injury of his right heel, RP Singh is suffering with a side strain and Munaf's movement has been controlled by a mild back strain. The injuries of many first bowlers are being delayed to broadcast the final 16 player’s team for Australia true which will start on 16 December after the Bafgalor test. Injury, Pakistan Team and the 3rd Test
Pakistan's right-arm medium-fast bowler Iftikhar Anjum is being sent to India in time to strengthen the bowling attack for the third Test at Bangalore. Pakistan cricket board toke the decision after injury of Umar Gul which lined him out of the entire Test series and also the illness to Shoaib Akhtar and Mohammad Sami that strictly hampered Pakistan's performance in the second Test. Although Pakistan's team management in India had requested for Abdur Rauf, a bowling allrounder, to be sent yet the Pakistan board preferred Anjum as a better alternate regarding his international experience.
Anjum has introverted Test performance against his name, will join replacement of Sohail Tanvir who has played two Tests. Yasir Arafat was sent to Gul's replacement that is yet to make his Test debut in the bowling line-up along with Shoaib and Sami.
"A lot of effort was made to ensure that Yasir [Arafat] reached Kolkata in time [for the second Test] and he did but still wasn't included in the playing line-up," Naghmi said. "Now we don't know for sure whether Rauf will be needed for the Bangalore Test which is why we have asked the captain to explain to us the reason why he needs him in India."
PCB chief operating officer Shafqat Naghmi was excerpt to the Pakistani media as expressing surprise and disinclination over Shoaib Malik asking for Rauf as cover especially in light of his reasonable performance regarding the of his good bowling this season: 20 wickets in seven matches at an average of over 42.
Naghmi added more, "Many of effort were made to guarantee that if Yasir Arafat might reach Kolkata in time for the second Test then he would needed for the team. Shoaib Malik needs no reminder that losing, and losing to India, does as much for the stock of any Pakistan captain as the imposition of emergency in Pakistan did for the Karachi Stock Exchange. However, from the morose, burdened expressions that rarely left his face over the span of five days, perhaps he needs reminding that even in defeat, Pakistan happened upon some light.
Indeed, compared to the first Test defeat under his captaincy - against South Africa in Karachi - the second Test defeat was almost a victory. Not quite, perhaps, but Pakistan fought harder and looked far more balanced than they did at any point against South Africa. That is some progress at least.
Belatedly, the reliance on spin has been ditched - it is not what has seen Pakistan through all these years - and hopefully, Malik has seen enough here to not fall back on it, unless conditions positively scream out for it. With effectively a second-choice pace attack, Pakistan battled until the very end and nobody will deny that had even one of Umar Gul and Mohammad Asif, or both, been around, the effort might have borne fruit. RP Singh and Sreesanth, India will argue, might have evened things out, but who would've made up for Shoaib Akhtar?
On the other hand India was also faild to through a big target at their first innings. Indian top order batsmen walked the same way like Pakistan. Only VVS Lakshman and M S Dhoni build a big partnership of 129 runs and they did 72 and 57 runs respectively. Only Dinesh Karthik failed to get run in both innings. S Ganguly and SR Tendulker also played well. Specially, in 2nd innings Ganguly played well as all-rounder by taking 2 wickets and 48 runs.
One Test is too little a time frame to judge anything, leave alone the complex art that is captaincy, but Kumble has already given a few indicators. Before the match, he had written about a document he was preparing for the side, a mission statement that would set the agenda. And by the end, it was clear that one side was responding far better to their leader than the other. Kumble himself made a big impact on the game, something that couldn't be said about Shoaib Malik, his counterpart who's been under fire.
Kumble entrusted Sourav Ganguly with the role of a genuine third seamer, bowling him for a long spell in the first innings and giving him the new ball in the second. He admitted that too much was being read into the latter move but revealed that it was one taken at the spur of the moment. "I just wanted to change ends to Munaf," he said. "I wanted to bowl that over but said, why not try Sourav. After a couple of balls from him, I decided to take the new ball. And he got two wickets. Then, when they were nine down, it was for me to finish it off."
Shoaib Akthar is successful bowler of Pakistan team. He got 6 wickets in 1st and 2nd innings, meanwhile Shoaib Akthar toke 4 wickets which Lost India of their 2nd innings. Danesh Kaneria and Shohel Tanvir also did good bowling.
Indian captain Anil Kumble got wicket all most. He toke 7 wickets in 2 innings and was selected man of the match. Zahir Khan, Harvajan Shing and Ganguly also did good bowling.
However in the upcoming 2nd test which team want be win they must be need to score more than 400 runs in their first innings.
